Investment Bags

It was only in the last few years that I have come to realize the value of a good investment. Before that I always spent my money on a lot of trendy cheaper items that consisted of subpar quality and went out of style in a few seasons instead of saving up to purchase classic items that can last years or even a lifetime. A few things to remember when purchasing an investment handbag is make sure it will withstand passing trends, look great for years to come, and is something you really love. This, this, and this are among my favorites. You can see some more of my favorites below.

  1. I definitely need a new investment bag. I'm tired of all of my current choices. Of course, I'll eventually become tired of my new piece but oh well! ;) Gorgeous choices.

  7. I truly believe in investing in bags. You have posted some of my favorites that I am saving up for. The Mulberry one is at the top of my list, as well as the classic Chanel. But I would also love a Prada bag.

  9. I'm on love with the YSL, but when I went in the store to see it, it was so heavy!!!!

I think that I need a big bag that can carry a lot of stuff, but also lighter than this one!

  10. Agreed!! I really need to get a new bag soon, one I can put everything in. I have bene using my youngest daughter's diaper bag as my bag, but it's ok, cause it looks a bit like the one in the second to the bottom on the right one there. But, I could do with something smaller, yet a big size. I hope you have a great Friday dolls xx

  11. i agree. bags were the only thing (ok, aside from jeans and shoes) i'd "invest" in. gucci was my vice...i'd treat myself to one bag every year and carry it for pretty much the whole year. beautiful bags here.

  12. I agree with you. Before I used to buy cheap and trendy bags, but only lasted me a while, until I decided to slurge on a brand name bag, and that bag has been holding up so well, even after 5 years of having it.

  13. I love your bags. I really enjoy making bags so would love to have this pattern that you are giving away. The celebrity handbags from lovelliesugar.com would be great for my sister to keep her cell phone and keys when she is riding her kike.
