Here in the US we celebrate this day every third Monday of January. King gave his I Have a Dream speech in which he called for racial equality and an end to discrimination. Without King's efforts for racial equality, the US may not have seen the advances in civil rights that it did. So we should take a moment to be thankful for this today.
