Nothing says here's a confident, sexy woman like a menswear inspired look. Although it seems a little contradictory to my usual love of all things girly and frilly I have always liked the idea of adding a few menswear inspired items to my wardrobe. Currently the item I'm envisioning adding is a mens watch with a slightly feminine face.
Here are some tips for incorporating menswear style:
1. For handbags I like very structured bags or leather clutches.
2. Look for traditionally masculine fabrics such as herringbone, tweed, plais, pinstripe or flannel.
3. 2 menswear basics are a classic buttong-down shirt and a crease-front trouser. Searout these garments tailored for a trimmer, more feminine physique.
4. Adove matchy-matchy pieces. Instead add a couple signature masculine style pieces to your otherwise feminine look.
5. Shop for shoes with laces, tassles, metal accents or fringes.
6. Make good use of the blazers in your closent andd consider addin a well tailored button-up vest.
7. Don't limit yourself to trousers on the bottom, also look for skirts, especially pencil skirts, in masculine fabrics.
8. To keep warm add a trenchcaot and a fedora, cabbie, or newsboy hat.
Here's a few looks I've pulled together: This outfit looks so comfortable. I love the addition of the Parisan feeling striped tee to the pleated trousers, menswear inspired shoes, and the tailored black jacket.

It would go perfect with the cuffs rolled up and paired the Alexander McQueen jacket. While this look is casual, it would be difficul for you not to be taken seriously carrying this Valentino bag into your next meeting at work.
