Easy Banana Bread
Posted by Jessica
This recipe is so easy to make it is hard to believe how delicious it is. I have made numerous loafs of this banana bread to give as gifts and it is always receives compliments. You can easily add 3/4 cup of nuts or chocolate chips if you want to put a little spin on it.

Ingredients:

4 ripe bananas (I had already mashed my ripe bananas before I remembered to get a picture)
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
1. Mash bananas. Add melted butter.
2. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
3. Add baking soda and salt.
4. Add flour. Optional: Add a dash of cinnamon.

5. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven. In an 8 x 4 loaf pan for 1 hour or in a 9 x 5 loaf pan for 50 minutes.
