Living in the country provides us with ample space to farm and garden on. Because of this our family is constantly canning or freezing something that we have grown. Our Dad is an avid farmer. During the Spring and Summer he can always be found outside doing something in the garden whether it is planting, hoeing, fertilizing, or gathering. He comes home from working all day and then goes to the garden until it is dark a lot of days. Recently we took some blackberries he had picked and made homemade blackberry jelly. I'm not even a fan of jelly but I love our blackberry jelly and blackberry dumplings. It is so delicious on homemade biscuits. These blackberry recipes have had me looking up other recipes that we could use some fresh blackberries in.

From looking at these recipes I can only deduce that there are some very talented bloggers out there, who must be able to bake like nobody's business. I can't wait to try all of these. What do you think?
