Audrey Hepburn

Breakfast at Tiffanys is such an iconic movie. It gets referred to in many other movies, tv shows, and songs that it might come as a shock when you find out that someone has not seen the movie. Well that was true for my sister and I until about a week ago. We had never seen Breakfast at Tiffanys, but a few weeks ago my sister found the movie for just a few dollars and she bought it for us to watch. Last weekend a couple of friends and us decided to have a movie evening and Breakfast at Tiffanys was the movie of the night. Both of our friends had seen the movie and loved it and upon learning that we had never watched the movie they insisted that it was what we had to watch that night.
In case you are like us and have never seen the movie I highly recommend that you buy or rent it to watch it. It is perfect for a love story/whimsical treat. It stars Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly. Holly is a carefree(but later you learn not so carefree), spontaneous woman. She is so brave and confident and she will definitely make you laugh. Hepburn was brilliant in the role. I have ALWAYS loved Audrey Hepburn's style and it is magnificent in this movie. You will love everything that you see her wear. I don't want to spoil the movie for you if you haven't seen it, so I won't say too much but I do want to share some of my favorite moments from the movie.

When Holly goes into her refrigerator to get milk for her and Cat, she also has a pair of shoes in there that she pulls out, looks at, and then puts back in the refrigerator. I thought it was odd, but Holly acted like it was completely normal.

Holly's couch in her apartment is half of a bathtub. It is so unusual, but cute.

Cat, the nameless cat, walks on Holly's back to wake her up. All throughout the movie you see Cat climbing on things on just laying on things that up high. Sometimes you wonder just how did he get up there?

The harshest part of the movie was when Holly had the taxi driver stop and she put Cat out on the sidewalk. Paul Varjak played by George Peppard, gets out of the taxi further down the street after arguing with Holly and begins to walk back to look for Cat. Holly then jumps out and goes back screaming for Cat, but then he meows and they live happily ever after!

Such a great movie! It had love, hardships, and its quirky moments! If you haven't seen it you need to remedy that quickly.
