Yesterday evening I got to enjoy a delicious family dinner. My whole family went to my grandmas house for dinner. I swear she is the best cook that I know. Everything she makes seems to be a lot better than what anyone else makes. She is one of those people who has been cooking for so long that she doesn't follow recipes and she doesn't measure out ingredients so there is no trying to duplicate what she makes. She just adds things in until "it looks right" or "tastes right."

Yesterday we had a scrumptious dinner consisting of green beans, pork tenderloin, homemade mashed potatoes, corn bread, fried corn, and corn on the cob. She had also made homemade bisquits especially for me, because she knows how much I love them. Before going to help fix dinner we picked some black berries from the black berry patch behind our house and she also made us blackberry dumplings.

I LOVE family dinners. Unfortunately they happen very rarely in my case (all my relatives are spread out in different locations) but when we do get together, it's a whole lot of fun! sounds like an amazing night with delicious food for you :) XOXO
