I find french doors absolutely breathtaking. My favorites are the mostly glass french doors. They are a more unique way to invite the sunshine into your home. On cool days they would also be perfect to prop open and let the breeze steal into your home. When I think about french doors, I can imagine them in several rooms in the house. For instance, in the dining room leading outside or in the living room. The extra light that they would let in would be very useful in these rooms. I never think of them being inside the house. And by inside the house I mean that they do not lead outside, maybe they lead from the living room to the dining room. I would want my french doors to lead out onto my patio/deck area where lots of flowers are visible. I would want to be able to look out the french doors and see a beautiful landscape and when the doors are propped open I would be able to smell the wonderful flowers growing outside.
