Earlier this week I posted about the beauty of lavender, then I was talking about the flower. Now, I want to talk about the color itself. This is a color that I would love to incorporate into my future home. Any room in the house would be soothing and relaxing if done in shades of lavender. Lavender paint, wall paper, and decorations would be perfect paired with white, mint green, or paired with gray for a more modern look. What color would you pair with lavender?

ReplyDeleteI have nothing in my house that is lavender...and now that I see this I need to change that. I'd probably add gray with lavender.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why but I really like this color for a bathroom because what better color to have around you when you walk out of a hot shower or when your putting your makeup on early in the morning!

ReplyDeleteI am only just now starting to get in to the colour lavender as a design colour - Ive always swayed towards teals and aquas but lavender is a beatuiful colour to encorporate and you're right, incredibly soothing :)

ReplyDeletePurple is my favourite colour, I love how it has so many shades to it from the palest pastels to dark grey tones. I'd always team it up with pinks and greens.
