Chit Chat: Accomplishments

Chit Chat: Accomplishments At the end of this week I will finish my last class for my Master's Degree. This is something that I have been working towards for several years. I have spent evenings after work going to night classes when the classes were not offered online. This meant that on those evenings I left work and drove straight to class and that when class was over I drove straight home, only for it to be bedtime. I have spent my Summer's taking multiple classes so that I didn't have to take so many during the school year. It is hard to believe that so much time has passed and that I am so close to being finished. It will be a relief to be finished and I am already feeling super excited to have this accomplishment under my belt. It is a great feeling to have things coming together after dedicating so much time and energy to it. Not only can I be proud of my accomplishment, but the new degree will bring a pay raise with it, something else I can be excited about!
Getting my Master's Degree has been something I have been working towards for several years, but accomplishments do not have be something you spend large quantities of time working for. The first week that Tracy and I spent eating clean was an accomplishment for me. I had my doubts about us being able to do it, but it worked out great and we are trying to make eating cleaner a permanent part of our lifestyle. I also feel a sense of accomplishment when I am tutoring a student and I see them finally understand a topic that they have been having trouble with. I feel great that I was able to help them but I also feel proud of them for putting forth the effort and time.
