New York State Of Mind

fall in new york
New York State of Mind
Jessica and I are in New York for the Thanksgiving holiday. I had mixed emotions about this trip before we left. I wasn't sure I wanted to be away from home during the holiday but now that we have arrived I couldn't be more excited about spending a few days exploring, taking in the sites, and shopping my way through as much of the City as possible. We have a few things planned such as taking in a show, seeing the parade, and visiting the Empire State Building but for the most part we are just going to spend our time trying to discover new places, looking for a few special Christmas gifts, and eating a lot of delicious food. If you have any suggestions of places we have to go to please send me a quick tweet.

In the grand scheme of things, it won't matter if you miss; plus, imagine how festive and beautiful the city will be on Thanksgiving! Ooh it'll be so exciting, I really hope you have a wonderful time and don't forget to blog about it soon! xoxo

  9. Ohhhh! You will have so much fun minus this awful snow we're about to be getting. You MUST go to Bryant Park and eat at Celsius and check out all the cute holiday shops there. Also, Union Square has super cute holiday shops and there is a great Nordstrom Rack right there. Max Brenner's, also in Union Square, is AMAZING. The chocolate is beyond delicious and so is their regular food. Sarafina's, Fig & Olive, and Dos Caminos are all favorites of mine as well.

  13. Sounds like a lot of fun! This year I'm spending away from my family so I'm pretty homesick this week :( But nothing beats getting to explore a new city!
