Happy Weekend
The snow here has been crazy. Life in my small town was almost at a standstill for a few days while roads remained dangerous to travel. As a result I was unable to make the almost 90 minute drive to my office and spent most of the week inside, near the fireplace, and trying to stay warm. Even though I am a true homebody at heart even I was beginning to feel a little cabin fever.
This weekend Jessica and I are hosting a game night, have cousin visiting from out of town, and helping to throw our little brother a birthday dinner (I plan to bake my brother's favorite cheesecake and Jessica has promised a mint chocolate cake!). We also have book club at our friend's house Saturday and we will be discussing
this book
. I host book club next week. I have chosen
The Cuckoo's Calling
