Michelle Obama during an interview this week wore a $35 dress from H&M. I love when celebrities and other figures in the public eye wear affordable, accessible fashions. While Mrs. Obama's stylist has added sleeves to the dress I prefer the original version that can been seen here on H&M's website. I like this navy dress with the white print and shades of blue paired with orange is one of my favorite color combinations.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan made her own news by wearing a tight minidress to court this week. I don't think there is any doubt that this look was inappropriate to wear while appearing in court for grand theft of a $2,500 necklace but I actually think this dress is pretty. Lindsay just needed to choose a different occasion on which to wear it. I also love her Chanel sunglasses. The $575 dress is said to be sold out on all online retailers.
Until recently I would have never invisioned Kelly Osbourne as a fashionista. Kelly has had her fair share of fashion errors as seen above. I'm not sure if she wasn't trying or if she was trying too hard, but Kelly's style has changed in recent years.
Kelly has ditched her sloppy, goth teenager style, for something more chic and sophisticated. She has even strutted her stuff down a runway. Growing up in the public eye cannot be easy and many of Kelly's struggles have been made public but after rehab and her recently transformed body she is looking happier than ever. Kelly's current look is a mixture of rocker chick and designer.
I love Kelly's spin on the little black dress and found my own version of the dress for just $60. It's amazing how effective a little black dress with a statement necklace can be.
Kelly's nude, tiered dress is perfection. I even find her light purple hair adorable. I had to recreate this beautiful look on a budget. To add some glitter to this dress I suggest pinning some huge rhinestone brooches around the waist of this dress.
Polka dots pop up quite often in Kelly's closet and who can blame her if she can look this good in them? In did my own version of her outfit while managing to keep each piece at $30 dollars or less.
Blake Lively looks great here. This is an amazing dress for a night on the town or a party. The sequin black dress is a definite show stopper and will show off your legs. Pulling back your hair lets you enjoy the night without worrying about your hair. This is a chic look and black is always classic. Adding a little sparkle will make you the envy of everyone around.
Taylor Swift looks very put together here in her Victorian inspired blouse and tiered skirt over patterned tights. What I also love about this look is the soft curls and the great eye makeup.
I have always been a fan of Rachel Bilson's style. She always looks put together no matter what the situation is. This look is very casual and I can totally see myself wearing it during the weekend or to hang out with friends. I'm going to give major credit to the belt and the cowboy boots for making this outfit look very put together.
A few years ago I would have never invisioned Nicole Richie as a style icon but she has really stepped up her game. I love her boho-chic style. She always manages to keep it feminine and chic by mixing loose, oversized clothes with fitted, tailored pieces. Look One:
I've always thought Rachel Bilson was a great fashionista. She always manages to look trendy but also classy. She makes looking great seem so simple. Boyfriend Destroyed Jeans $145 - coggles.com
