Rent Your Textbooks

Whether you are a full-time college student, part-time, or taking night classes one way to save some money is to rent your textbooks. This is something that I have become very familiar with because I just finished my Master's Degree. I have even started renting my textbooks because I can save so much money. Even though I just received my Master's Degree, I am not finished with college yet. Now it's time to get my Rank 1, so that I can get another pay raise at work.
One great website to rent textbooks from is Campus Books Rentals. You can save 40-90% off of normal bookstore prices, which can really add up! Shipping is free both when you rent the book and when you return the book. You can treat these rented books just like books you buy. You are able to write and highlight in them! You can make notes in the margins. Really, I treat the books I rent just like the textbooks I use to buy.
There are other perks to renting from Campus Books Rentals. One being that for each textbook that you rent a donation goes to Operation Smile. Another great thing is their RentBack program. Through this process you can actually make money by renting the textbooks you own! How fantastic is that?

Save Money: Rent College Textbooks

Whether you are a full-time college student, part-time, or taking night classes one way to save some money is to rent your textbooks. This is something that I have only been familiar with for the past year due to my brother starting college last year and renting some of his textbooks. This past summer I even rented the textbook for the summer class that I was taking.

Save Up: Rent Your Books

If you aren't in college you know someone who is. Either by personal experience or because of family and friends you know how expensive college is and how expensive books can be. Right now I am in graduate school working on my masters, while I am teaching. It amazes me how much money I spend on a signal class and the required materials for that class- it is very easy to drop a couple of thousand for one class. Recently, I found out that you can rent your textbooks for a semester. Renting can save you 40-90% off what the bookstore would charge you.
One service is called CampusBookRentals.com that lets your rent your books at the beginning of the semester. After finals you mail your books back to them free of charge to you. If you really liked a book you do have the option of purchasing it. You can treat these books just like any other. You can highlight in them and everything! Another perk to using CampusBookRentals.com is that they are partnered with Operation Smile and are donating over 1,000 life saving cleft lip surgeries this year to children in need. One thing I found really interesting about CampusBookRentals.com is that if you own your books you can mail them to the company and they will rent your books out to others, this is their RentBack program. Every time they get rented you get paid! This could earn you 2 to 4 times what you would get back for them at a bookstore. If you want to learn more about this check it our here.
