DIY Hand Stamped Polka Dot Napkins
I love cloth napkins. They add a special touch family dinners, brunches with friends, or even eating pizza in front of the tv. A few days ago me and Jessica were in a major crafting mood and made these napkins, plus a few other DIYs that we will be sharing later, during a marathon of The Walking Dead (a completely typical show to watch while producing pretty napkins with purple polka dots). These napkins were incredibly easy to make and I thought it was kind of fun creating the pattern. It was a great while to be productive while also vegging out in front of the television.
Supplies:
Cloth Napkins (like
these)
Acrylic Paint (that can be used on cloth)
Q-Tips
Kraft Paper (not pictured)
Instructions:
1. Pre-wash and iron (which I did kind of poorly) the napkins.
2. Spread kraft paper over your work area.
3. Dip a q-tip into the paint and then press onto the napkin. Repeat until you cover the entire napkin. Ours are not perfectly spaced or lined up and I think that makes them even better.
4. Allow to dry.
