A Melting Pot

I believe that it is the small details that really make a home a home. Sure I could have an awesome couch and tv in my living room, but if there wasn't anything else it definitely would be lacking that homey comfort. One small item that I believe you can really use to decorate a space is pottery. You can go all rustic and natural with it or spice things up with bold beautiful colors. Not only will pottery add a beautiful piece to admire but it can provide multiple uses. You can have flowers planted in a big piece of pottery, or use them for storage, or for storing things in the kitchen. I know that when I have my own home, I will be incorporating some pottery. What about you? Would you be rustic or bold with your pottery?

  11. I love all types of pottery actually but if I had to choose I guess I'd go bold. But there's something so real and authentic about rustic that I just love. :)

  12. My place is definitely modern contemporary so I'd incorporate rustic pieces in the form of serveware. These are all really nice :)

  18. That second picture is just beyond adorable ! Gorgeous pottery :) I recently found the most adorable mugs and plates, designed by Paola Suhonen (Ivana Helsinki) The name of the dishes is Saimaa , it's the name of our country's biggest lake. :)

Thank you for the comment! Lingonberries is the translation I found on google, there were also cowberries. They're a little like cranberries but smaller. :)
