Double Chocolate Cookie Bars

Double Chocolate Cookie Bars basically says it all. These will appeal to anyone who loves chocolate. It only take a few minutes to put the cookie bars together, however, the two hours of chilling time was almost unbearable. We couldn't wait to dig into these. I think they would be even more amazing with some toasted coconut added. Maybe next time.

Ingredients:
2 cups finely crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups milk chocolate chips, divided
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups peanut butter chips

Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press firmly into bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
2. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in medium saucepan over medium heat. Pour evenly over prepared crust. Top with nuts, peanut butter chips, and remaining chocolate chips.
3. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until set. Cool. Chill at least 2 hours. Cut into bars.
