homemade almond joy recipe

If you love Almond Joy's then this is the recipe for you. And who doesn't love coconut, almonds, and chocolate? If you happen to be allergic to almonds then leave them out. This recipe is quick, easy, and sure to delight everyone. Plus it is a no bake recipe!

Ingredients

14 oz bag of Sweetened Coconut Flakes
2/3 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
24 Whole Almonds
Pinch of Salt
18 oz Chocolate Almond Bark
Paraffin Wax

Instructions

In a bowl mix the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more of the milk (there should be some left over in the can). Once you have the right consistency, you want to roll the coconut mixture into balls. Place them on a cookie sheet that has been lined with wax paper. Press one whole almond into the top of each coconut ball. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
When the coconut balls have chilled you need to, melt the almond bark along with a few shavings of the paraffin wax on the stove. Have another cookie sheet lined with wax paper ready. Dip the coconut balls in the almond bark and then place on the cookie sheet.
Chill in the refrigerator until set. Then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
