This what to wear look features layering. In this cold, rainy weather we all need to wear multiple layers. These help us stay warm and when we go inside we can pull the wet outer layer off and still be warm. I also like that this is a slightly preppy look. I love talking a print like plaid and layering it under a solid color sweater. The trench coat is a classic and works with anything for work-wear to casual looks. The satchel is one of my favorite bag styles and I love how this one is two-toned. Plus these rain boots are gorgeous. They are currently one of my favorite items and are on my to buy list.

It's definitely the time of year for layering! And I love that combo of those boots and that plaid top and jacket/sweater. It looks so cozy but very fashionable as well.
