Honestly, this has been a pretty great week. I had plenty of time to do things that I enjoy. I read a few books and went to quilting class twice. My sister and I took our mom and grandma out for a full day of shopping and a stop to eat dinner at Olive Garden, which is my grandma's favorite place to eat even though she has only been there once previous to this. I had time to enjoy some Netflix, I've been watching Daredevil on there and I love it. My brother and I made a few new recipes to try during lunch times this week. I did spend a day going to the eye doctor but at least I now have new glasses, right?
This weekend will be fun of pretty much the same activities. On Sunday we will host a big Father's Day dinner for our dad. We will cook some of his favorite foods like meatloaf, apple cake, and chocolate cake. Nothing says celebration like two cakes. What are your plans?

ReplyDeleteWell I would like to now start my weekend with a giant piece of chocolate cake! I am planning on doing a day of relaxing at the beach if possible and will just enjoy soaking up the sunshine.
