Fall Fashion: Knee Boots

Fall is one of my favorite times of year. I love watching the leaves change and feeling the temperatures cool down. I love that we can pull out our boots and wear our layers. I love how the looks above have incorporated their boots. They are gorgeous! While I prefer ankle boots, I am really interested in knee boots this year. What are your thoughts on them?

This post by Rebecca reminded me of how much I love a good ankle boot. They are the perfect shoe to pick up for fall in order to give your collection a little update. I couldn't agree more with Rebecca. Booties are versatile, can be worn every season, and go with everything from shorts to jeans. I have been stalking the above Chloé boots around the internet for what seems like forever. Unfortunately these boots, available here, with their $1,290 price tag are out of my price range. Over the weekend I stumbled across the Jeffrey Campbell boots pictured below and available here at the much more wallet friendly price of $188. I'm feeling torn. Should I purchase the Jeffery Campbell boots or save up for the Chloé boots I've had my heart set on? I would love to know your thoughts on the Jeffery Campbell boots as an alternative.

I get extremely excited about footwear each Fall. The one item I want most this Fall, correction that I NEED this Fall, is a pair of flat brown boots. I have been lusting over flat brown boots for months. These boots are extremely practicable, fashionable, and look amazing with everything from jeans to leggings to dresses.

Boot-i-ful

Boots are a must have item for this Fall and Winter, but they are great for any time of the year. Boots can help you create the overall atmosphere of your outfit, whether you are going for super feminine or edgy. The high of your boots can also protect your skin from the cold. I also love the idea of layering tights and socks under your boots.

I love this outfit, especially the green dress. Green is my favorite color, so I always look for pieces in this color to add to my wardrobe. I feel like I can never have enough green things. I paired the dress with black and silver items. I think the tights are so adorable and they would look great under those knee high boots.

I saw this skirt and immediately loved it. I pulled my colors for this look from the pinks, yellows, and browns in the skirt. I love the added ruffled detail on the pink top. The pink earrings add another pop of color while everything else is a neutral tone. I think these ankle boots are so cute.

Right as Rain

During this time of year there is one thing every girl wishes she had…… and that is a cute pair of rain boots. Due to the rainy, gloomy, muddy days you need a pair of rain boots to keep your feet warm and dry. While other shoes would require a lot of effort to dry and clean after wearing them in the rain, rain boots just need to be wiped off and they are good as new.
