I am not sure when my fascination with France began or even why but I am without a doubt smitten with all things French. Another thing I love is books so you can certain that I happily collect any book about France that I can get my hands on. The newest book in my collection is this book that Jessica got me for Christmas. I love flipping through its pages when I have a couple quiet minutes. Above are a few more of my favorites. Do you have any suggestions for books that this Francophile should read?

I have never visited Paris but I have officially been in love with it for years. I dream about a charming stroll along the River Seine, meals comprised of French pastries, shopping in all of the boutiques in Paris, and marveling at the amazing architecture. Nothing symbolizes the romanticism and beauty associated with Paris more than the Eiffel Tower. I am already positive that everyone's heart begins to flutter the first time they visit the Eiffel Tower.

Where In The World...?

Summer seems to be a favorite time to travel for most. A lot of this has to do with the fact that family vacations are made possible because the kids are not in school and college students do not have to go to class unless they are taking those dreaded summer classes. A couple of weeks ago I blogged about my mini-vacation to Asheville, NC and that was nice but I wish I had the time and money to go on a REAL vacation this summer.
There are so many places that I would love to travel to, given the time and the money and maybe a few comrades willing to go along for the ride. Where would I go this summer if given the chance?

Burgundy Street in Madrid

Greece

Japan

England

The Italian Coast

Etretat, France

Lake Lucern, Switzerland

All of these are places that I hope to travel to some day. Have you been to any of these places?

I Dream A Dream

We thought we would each take an opportunity this week to tell you about what each of our dream vacations would be. Here is mine: I would head off to Paris, France. Where I would visit the Eiffel Tower. And see the Arc de Triomphe. And I would ride the carousel next to the Eiffel Tower numerous times. I would attend extravagent events that would require me to wear couture gowns. I would eat French Macaroons in all different flavors. And I would stay in a beautiful chateau outside of the city.
