A stylish tote for the office is an essential for me. Since I am always running around between the office, court, and meetings I need a handbag big enough to carry all of my things but it also has to look chic and work appropriate. A great work tote is worth an investment because you will get so much use out of it. This beautiful Saint Laurent tote is currently at the top of my wish list.

This post that went up last year is consistently one of the posts that Jessica and I receive the most inquiries about. Seems that everyone loves a weekend getaway as much as we do and also wants a chic and affordable bag that holds just enough that will get them through being out of town a few days. The slight chill I have been feeling in the air the last few days has made me super excited for fall and for updating my fall wardrobe. Fall fashion will forever be my favorite with its rich textures and deep colors. I am gradually transitioning my wardrobe. Part of my closets transition includes updating my handbag collection and treating myself to a few new additions like a new top handle handbag and a pretty embellished find.

Bold Color Handbags

I am very much convinced that one thing every woman should own is a bold color handbag. Choose a color that packs a punch and draws attention. Until the last couple years I had stuck to mostly neutral or soft colors but then kind of by accident I ordered a Kate Spade handbag and when it arrived it was a bright fuschia color. I had thought when I placed the order that it was a much softer color. At first I was a little uncertain about how bold it was but I decided to keep it. There is never a time when I carry that bag that I don't receive numerous compliments. Since then I've been hooked and purchased a couple other bold color bags. Investment Bags

It was only in the last few years that I have come to realize the value of a good investment. Before that I always spent my money on a lot of trendy cheaper items that consisted of subpar quality and went out of style in a few seasons instead of saving up to purchase classic items that can last years or even a lifetime. A few things to remember when purchasing an investment handbag is make sure it will withstand passing trends, look great for years to come, and is something you really love. It's In The Bag

I have always been one of those girls who carries a huge handbag. It was not until my recent vacation that I discovered just how wonderful clutches are. I carried this Kate Spade clutch much of the time I was in Florida and what a relief it was to have such a small, light bag that I tossed a few essentials in. I was shocked to realize that I never missed having all of the other things I typically carried around with me.
