This year my office is having a low-key gathering for lunch one day at a nice local restaurant. Although our Christmas celebration is during the work day this year I will still be wearing a festive skirt (love this red one) and a little extra sparkle to work that day. A couple months ago I shared my casual go to uniform for those days when I need to get dressed in a hurry or when it seems like I have nothing to wear. Today I wanted to do the same thing for the office. On days when I need to look my best for meetings with clients or in court and I need a look that is reliable I always turn to a wrap dress. I also believe it is important to have a few other high quality, dependable pieces in your closet for work like a nice cardigan, dressy shoes that are also comfortable, a chic satchel, and a gold watch. What To Wear: To Work On Valentine's Day

One of the few things I really love about my about job is that the work environment isn't as formal as what I typically expect for a law firm. I just do not know if I could handle having to go to work each day in black or navy matching suit pieces. I don't think court will be on my schedule for Valentine's Day so this week's #whattowear depicts very closely what I will be wearing to celebrate the day. I love the combination of pink and red.
