I fell in love with the French influence on the decor in the images above. I love the lines, the elegance, the sometimes shabby chicness of French inspired home design. If I cannot run away and live in Paris maybe I can bring a little bit of Paris to me.

I have always been a Francophile. This Fall I have been dreaming of an extended getaway to Paris even more than usual. I can imagine no better way to spend a crisp Fall morning than strolling through the streets of Paris before enjoying a leisurely lunch, followed by taking in the wonderful sights and shopping Paris as to offer. Easily one of the most beautiful cities in the world, my October wish list centers around influences from the City of Lights.

I have never visited Paris but I have officially been in love with it for years. I dream about a charming stroll along the River Seine, meals comprised of French pastries, shopping in all of the boutiques in Paris, and marveling at the amazing architecture. Nothing symbolizes the romanticism and beauty associated with Paris more than the Eiffel Tower. I am already positive that everyone's heart begins to flutter the first time they visit the Eiffel Tower.

Parlez vous Francais?

I have an extreme obsession with all things French. I spent my weekend dreaming about a Paris vacation, during which I would go to the market for fresh cheese and bread, sip cafes au lait while sitting at a sidewalk table, and spend afternoons shopping for the latest fashions or touring beautiful art museums. I love the romanticism and beauty associated with The City of Lights. I adore the chic and stylish fashion French women are known for and the beautiful French architecture. Someday I hope to have a picnic and enjoy macaroons near the Eiffel Tower and decorate my house with French antiques.

I Dream A Dream

We thought we would each take an opportunity this week to tell you about what each of our dream vacations would be. Here is mine: I would head off to Paris, France. Where I would visit the Eiffel Tower. And see the Arc de Triomphe. And I would ride the carousel next to the Eiffel Tower numerous times. I would attend extravagent events that would require me to wear couture gowns. I would eat French Macaroons in all different flavors. And I would stay in a beautiful chateau outside of the city.
