Which Are Real?

Something that I really look forward to buying when it comes to fashion are shoes. Shoes are one of my favorite things to buy for myself. When I buy shoes though there are a couple of things that I keep in mind before devoting myself to the purchase.
1. They have to be shoes that I can walk in. I need shoes that I know will be comfortable to wear all day long.
2. They have to be shoes that I will wear a lot. We are all guilty of making purchases that we only wear a few times and then we never wear them again. When we do this we are wasting money!
3. I want shoes that are cute but aren't going to break the bank. I won't spend over $100 for a pair of shoes. So while there are a lot of beautiful (expensive) designer shoes out there (Dior, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and so on) I want to copy those looks for less.
Jimmy Choo and Look-AlikesFashion Trends & Styles - Polyvore
One pair of shoes that I think are cute are Jimmy Choo red peep toe pumps. In the polyvore above they are pictured. Can you guess which pair is the Jimmy Choos? If you said the first pair then you are correct! But this pair of Jimmy Choos costs $665, which is way too much for me to spend on them. The second pair of red pumps are Martinez Valero for $155, which is still more than $100, but a lot less that $665. The third red pair you can find online at GoJane.com for $22!!! They look similar to the Jimmy Choos, but you save $643!!! The other pairs I added into the polyvore because I thought they were cute peep toe pumps somewhat similar to the Jimmy Choos but in other colors. The white pair can be found at http://dev.lorisshoes.com for $82 and the first black pair can be found at the same website for only $84. The last pair are from Calvin Klein at $65. Which pair is your favorite?
While having the designer shoes would be nice, I would rather buy a similiar, cheater pair that way I have more money to spend on things like... other pairs of shoes!

  1. I really like the last pair; they are unique, something different. I agree about not spending more than $100 on shoes. I try to spend not more than $50. Shoes are just a girl's best friend :)

  2. I spend my money on designer handbags, not shoes (although that might change someday!). If the cheaper versions are comfortable, then why not? I can't remember if I've mentioned it here before but my most comfortable flats are the cheapest I've EVER bought (about 15 USD) and my most expensive pair ("made in Italy") gives me the worst blisters.

  3. hehe i do the same :) i find it - ridiculous - to spend incredible amounts of money for shoes, they'll be quickly dirty and used anyway !

  5. I couldnt agree more with what you wrote! I never buy shoes more than 100$. I love shoes and I am picky when it comes to purchasing them. I love beautiful shoes in affordable prices. I just bought the most gorgeous pair of shoes from ASOS on sale at only 47$ CAD. I might do an outfit feauturing them :)
