Chocolate Pudding Cookies

This is a delicious spin on traditional chocolate chip cookies. The pudding provides a slight hint of butterscotch flavor to each of the cookies. These were by far our favorite cookies that we baked during the holidays.

Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant butterscotch pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Combine the flour and soda and set aside. 3. Mix the butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla. Beat until creamy. 4. Add in eggs and mix well. 5. Gradually stir in the flour. 7. Stir in chocolate chips. 8. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. 9. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
