You've Got Mail

I have always loved to write. As a child I would make up stories and write them down. In elementary school my best friend and I would write letters to each other and send them through the mail. That is perhaps the first time I put my own letters in the mail box and received letters back. I would always look forward to receiving letters for my friend Samantha. We would always stick some kind of little gift a friendship bracelet or some stickers in the envelop too. Those times have sparked a love of letter writing and snail mail in me.
To this day I still get excited when I receive mail in the mail box other than bills and junk mail. That is one reason why I joined Post Crossing to send and receive post cards, because not only am I receiving mail I am learning about other countries. At the moment I have been searching for some beautiful stationery so that I can mail letters to me friends and family. I have bought several kinds of stationery and I am always on the look out for more. Do you have any suggestions for where I can look? Here are some of my current favorites.

  4. I'm sure you knew I would love this post Tracy! Haha, the second to last one particularly cracks me up- why is it always such a hassle to go to the post office?!

I find really great stationery on etsy (one of my favorites is 'isavirtue') and also have this amazing paper store right across the street from me which I probably go to about once a week. Recently, I've been in a card-making phase so I bought blank cards and have been decorating them myself. I also have ready-made cards though, for last minute situations :)
