Happy Weekend!

Happy Weekend!
I am always so happy to see Friday arrive, but this week it just doesn't seem like it should already be Friday. I guess it's because my week was different than normal, as I wasn't in my class teaching on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday I attended a math conference with some other teachers from my school and surrounding districts. I had a fun day with the teacher that I hung out with. Then the weather kept us from having school on Tuesday. Even this morning we had a one hour delay because of the weather, so I got a little more sleep than usual.

If the weather doesn't turn ugly, this promises to be a fun and busy weekend for me. Tomorrow Tracy and I are going to go shopping. We don't really have many stores we want to go too, but it will be nice to get away from home. Plus we are going to meet up with some friends and a catch a movie. Sunday I would like to try a couple of DIY projects that look easy and don't require a ton of materials. Even though they seem like they will be easy, I'm not a crafty person so it could turn out horribly wrong. As for tonight I am off to art class and then to the homecoming basketball game at the school that I teach at. The students were asking me to come tonight and I hope that I can make it. What are your weekend plans? I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. It's nice to have a change in schedule. When you have the same work week...week after week it gets monotonous. Wishing you two a wonderful weekend!

  4. Hope the weather isn't too terrible this weekend and I can't wait to see what your DIY projects will be, I'm sure you're more crafty than you think. Stay warm and you must be a cool teacher if the students invited you to come to the homecoming bball game. ;) PS - Love the SATC pic, that was one of my favorite episodes.

Had a quiet one this week, but I went to a Yoga session held by benefit cosmetics on thursday morning, that was quite eventful!
