2 Easy Gift Wrapping Ideas
In the past I was always the person running to the nearest store to quickly grab a gift bag and tissue paper to put gifts in moments before giving the gift to the recipient. Recently, however, I have really grown to appreciate pretty wrapped gifts. There is no doubt that receiving a gift that someone has taken a few minutes to wrap makes the present feel extra special no matter what is actually inside the wrapping.

For the pom pom wrapped gift all I did was wrap the present in craft paper and used the yarn to make a hot pink pom pom to top the gift. The method I used to make the pom pom is the same I used here.

To make the mini tassel all you need is washi tape, scissors, and baker's twine. Cut about 20 strips of washi tape that are 6 inches long and fold each strips in half lengthwise so that the sticky sides of the tape are together. Gather up your strips so they are all going the same direction and tie a small piece of string around the middle of the bundle. Gather up your strips so they are all going the same direction and tie a small piece of string around the middle of the bundle. Fold the bundle at the string and wrap one more small strip of washi tape around the top of the bundle to hold it in its folded position. Use the excess string from when you tied the bundle to attach it to the string on your gift.
