What To Wear: Weekend Run To The Coffee Shop

What To Wear: Weekend Run To The Coffee Shop
Mixed Cable Knit Sweater (perfect chunky sweater) / Tortoiseshell Glasses / Initial Ring (only $12!) / NARS Lipstick - Cruising / How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are / Paris Street Style / Flats (chic and comfortable) / Clutch / Boyfriend Jeans (has a great fit!)

I cannot think of a better way to spend a weekend morning than spending time in a coffee shop, sipping a latte, and diving into a book or catching up with some friends. The delicious smells and the people watching alone make it a great way to spend a couple relaxing hours and aid in convincing me to drag myself out of bed. The above outfit is my ideal winter weekend wear. It is stylish but equally important comfortable. This sweater is cozy and slightly oversized in the best possible way. I cannot begin to tell you how much I love these flats (leopard print + pointed toe!) and these slim-leg boyfriend jeans have the perfect fit.

I'm curious. What is your go to coffee drink?

P.S. Since I am forever dreaming of visiting Paris and am obsessed with all things French this book and this book are two books I would love to read. Have you had a chance to read either one?

What To Wear: A Casual Uniform

What To Wear: A Casual Uniform
Every girl needs a go to look they can rely on on days when they are running late, not feeling their best, or need something to put on without giving it too much thought. Below is my go to uniform for casual days. A striped tee, dark jeans, a bright lip, a statement necklace, a large tote, and comfy shoes preferably in leopard is perfect for days when I am in a hurry to get dressed but I always still feel chic and put together when meeting up with friends, going out to lunch, catching a movie, or running errands. I have about a dozen striped tees, numerous pairs of dark wash denim jeans, and too many to count statement necklaces that allow me to always mix and match without failing. What is your go to uniform on casual days?

Striped Tee (so comfy) / Necklace / Aviator Sunglasses / Jeans / Tote (perfect for on the go days) / Stardust Earrings / NARS Lipstick in Schiap / Leopard Flats ( here is an alternative for only $23)

Two Looks for the Week

We all have periods of time when everything seems so hectic. Everything seems like it takes too much time to do and everything seems to require so much energy even picking out what to wear. Here are two outfit ideas to help you make it through the week.

Work Look

Tuxedo Blazer - Betsey Johnson Gold Bangle - Black Satchel - Bird Print Dress - Wine Colored Nail Polish - Michael Kors Watch - Black Cap Toe Pump
First we have a beautiful work outfit. I don't often wear dresses to work but on a day when I need to look extra nice because of a meeting or something I would definitely wear this wine colored dress. The blazer adds a more professional air to the dress and I love the color. Too often people wear only neutral colored blazers to work. A satchel bag is a must for me to carry all of my papers in.

Hanging Out with Friends

Silvernight Stud Earrings - Cross Body Bag - Silver Bangles - Lady Sings the Blues Nail Polish - Chevron Print Sweater - Glitter Oxfords - Mustache Necklace - Jeans
When I am hanging out with friends and we aren't doing anything special I want to be comfortable. Jeans are the essence of comfort for me. I love the chevron print of the sweater and the colors are beautiful. Just hanging out at a friends house I probably wouldn't wear all of the accessories pictured maybe only the necklace or bracelet for me. So what type of outfits are a must for your week?
