Happy (Easter) Weekend

What to Wear: Easter
Posted by JessicaEaster is this upcoming weekend. My two looks for the week are examples of what you could wear this weekend for Easter. As a kid, every year before Easter mom and dad would buy us all a new dress and shoes for to wear on Easter. My favorite part of Easter wasn't the dress or the Easter basket of candy. My favorite thing was the Easter egg hunt. It was torture waiting for dad to go our and hide the eggs. Then my sisters and I had a blast looking for them. We always competed against each other to see who would find the most Easter eggs. Most were pretty easy to find but their were always a couple that were kind of difficult to find.
For me Easter looks could go one of two ways. Either you have a soft, delicate pastel look or a vibrant, bright look. Which do you prefer? Are you planning a special Easter look?

Easter is going to be upon us before we know it. As a little girl I always looked forward to this day as soon as April began. As my sister has already shared, at this time we all received new frilly dresses. So not only did I look forward to the Easter candy and a new dress, but I loved getting together with my siblings and cousins for our Easter egg hunt. Every year we would meet at Mamaws house and all our parents would bring eggs. Some were the plastic kind and others we could decorate ourselves. After the eggs were ready, a few of the moms would go hide the eggs and then we would be released from the house so that we could hunt those eggs down! What's your favorite part about Easter?

Easter Treats
Posted by Jessica
These are incredibly easy to make and children go crazy for them because they are so adorable. We made these for a group of children who then deemed us to be good "cookers." Ingredients:
Pretzel SticksChick Peeps
Robin Eggs Candy
White Chocolate
Directions:
1. Set aside approximately 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips and melt the rest.
2. Prepare your peeps and robin eggs while your chocolate is melting.
3. Stir pretzels into the white chocolate. We used approximately 10 oz. of pretzels. Once the pretzels are coated use 2 forks to arrange pretzels on wax papers.
4. Melt the 1/2 cup of chips that had been set aside.5. Dip the bottom of the peeps and eggs into the chocolate and then stick them onto the pretzels.
We hope that everyone has an amazing Easter. Sunny & Star
