On The Menu: Pretzel Candy Bites

on the menu: pretzel candy bites
These Pretzel Candy Bites are addictive. Salty and sweet. The perfect combination. These candy bites are a combination of pretzels, mini candies that contain caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate. I made these Friday evening after work and snacked on them all weekend. These would be perfect when hosting movie or games nights!

Ingredients:
Pretzels
Peanut Butter
Mini Snickers or Milky Ways
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a single layer of pretzels on the baking sheet.
2. Top each pretzel with a mini candy.
3. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes.
4. Immediately upon removing from the oven top each pretzel on the baking sheet with a pretzel that has been thinly spread with peanut butter.
5. Refrigerate the pretzel bites for about an hour.
6. Melt in a microwave or double boiler. Once melted dip half of each pretzel bite into the chocolate and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Refrigerate for an hour or so before enjoying.

Easter Treats

These are incredibly easy to make and children go crazy for them because they are so adorable. We made these for a group of children who then deemed us to be good "cookers."

Ingredients: Pretzel Sticks
Chick Peeps
Robin Eggs Candy
White Chocolate

Directions:
1. Set aside approximately 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips and melt the rest. 2. Prepare your peeps and robin eggs while your chocolate is melting. 3. Stir pretzels into the white chocolate. We used approximately 10 oz. of pretzels. Once the pretzels are coated use 2 forks to arrange pretzels on wax papers. 4. Melt the 1/2 cup of chips that had been set aside.
5. Dip the bottom of the peeps and eggs into the chocolate and then stick them onto the pretzels. We hope that everyone has an amazing Easter.

Party Mix

This party mix is truly addictive and so simple to make. A coworker gave brought some of this to work and it tasted so good that it required rushing home to make a batch that night.

Ingredients:
1 cup Pretzel Sticks
3 cups Cheerios
3 cups Chex Mix
12 ounce package of white chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Melt the package of white chocolate chips. 2. While the chips are melting, mixing in a large bowl the pretzels, Cheerios, and Chex Mix. 3. Pour the melted chips over the the pretzel mixture and stir.
4. Spread the mixture over the cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and wait for it to harden. 5. Break it apart and store it in an air tight container.

The great thing about party mix is that you can add in other delicious treats if you like such as a cup of miniature marshmallows or a cup of M&M's.
