We have been having a lot of rainy days here lately. How has the weather been where you are? The weather here can't seem to make up its mind. One day its warm and sunny and then the next its cool and stormy. I guess that's just Fall for you. I love a good stormy day when I can stay inside and snuggle under a blanket and watch some reruns of my favorite shows with my cat. What's not fun is having to brave the storm and go out and about.

I don't know about you, but on rainy days I just have not motivation to dress with care. It's storming and my hair is going to be a mess once I step out in the rain with the wind blowing. It's messy outside and if I'm not careful, I will be a mess too. So my go too rainy day look revolves around a great pair of jeans and beautiful rain boots. Rain boots in a beautiful color or print are perfect because they protect you and they are cute. A simple top and a great trench and you are ready to go. What's your go to look on a rainy day?

Spring Essential: Rain Boots

Until a couple years ago I had never owned a pair of rain boots even as a child. It wasn't until I got my first pair of rain boots (a floral print by Joules similar to these) that I realized how much of a game changer they are. Rain boots may not be the most worn shoes in my closet but they are definitely one of the most appreciated. Now I don't think twice about keeping my feet dry while splashing around town.

Joules is a brand I first feel in love with a couple years ago when I spotted these rain boots. Being the girly girl that I am the ribbon bows instantly made me swoon. I always find myself reaching for my wellibobs whenever the forecast calls for rain. I cannot even begin to describe how comfortable they are and how much they brighten up dreary days for me (plus their quality is amazing). Tracy recently acquired a beautiful pair of flora print rain boots. She has really been getting a lot of use out of them due to the inclement weather we have been having. Now, that it is not snowing we are constantly having rain or thunderstorms. I have been thinking that I either need to "borrow" Tracy's rain boots when she is not looking or look for a pair for myself. I love that Tracy's are a floral print and find it so hard to decide what I want my rain boots to look like. Do I want a fun print, a bold solid, or a neutral pair of rain boots? It's hard to decide.
I have really been trying to save money this year. April showers bring May flowers, is what they say, right? So far we have ushered in April with a couple of thunderstorms. If we continue at this pace we will have fields and fields of flowers in May. This weather is when a girl really needs a good pair of rain boots. These rain boots are so preppy, I just love the color and the pattern. I also really love the Ted Baker rain boots, they have some of the most beautiful feminine prints. Rain boots are perfect with jeans, but I also love the way they look with feminine dresses. I am not sure how I missed the memo on how stylish Hunter Boots can be. I have seen them pop up on several blogs lately and I have to say that I am falling in love with them.
