Hairstyles with Bows

Ever since I read this article on Vogue last week, I haven't been able to get bows and ribbons off my mind. The article included such beautiful photos that I loved. The hairstyles were simple, feminine, and beautiful. They can be easy and simple to use, yet they can make such a statement. You could have your ribbon tied in a bow like a head band or tie your ponytail with a ribbon. Ribbons go great with dresses, but I also love them with jeans and a tee. Your look doesn't have to be feminine to wear a ribbon in your hair. Mix it up. Wear a moto jacket and jeans with a ribbon in your hair. You can have a mix of tough and soft. What are your thoughts?

Sometimes you just need that little something extra. Don't shy away from ribbons, lace, buttons, and all of those extra embellishments. Whether it is an article of clothing, a bag, or an item to decorate your space everyone deserves a little frill and lace. Instead of buying something already with the frills and ribbons and buttons maybe you found something that is a little plain or it needs a little something extra. It will be so easy for you to add on some ribbon, lace, or to sew on some unique buttons. Some people just seem to be gifted with the ability to see something bland and boring and they are like, "Oh! If I do this or this it will be perfect!" I am so jealous of those people. Are you crafty and talented like this?

It is stunning how a simple black ribbon can really elevate any look. Whether tied around your waist, neck, or hair a black bow is chic and simple while somehow managing to provide just enough dramatic flare. A well placed black ribbon can easy eliminate the need for most other accessories. Black ribbon is well on its way to becoming my current accessory of choice.
