Bundle Up with Winter Hats

When it comes to winter weather it can get seriously cold. I'm talking if you are outside more than two minutes you feel like you are absolutely frozen. So if you are going to go outside you need to bundle up. Who isn't going to go out to go sledding, have snowball fights, or to make snowmen? One must have item is a winter hat. I, myself, am a huge fan of the crocheted winter hats especially the ones with the pompoms. I find these hats to be fun, warm, and a bit whimsical. I love this and this hat. What's your favorite style of winter hat? Are you like me and love the pompoms or do you prefer the furry hats or the felt hats?

In the winter one thing on our minds is staying warm, so we have to accessorize to help us achieve warmth. You can still add layers and accessories and remain stylish, cute, and chic. You just have to choose the right scarves, hats, gloves, and etc. Below are some of my winter accessory finds for helping you stay warm.

I purchased it at a Christmas festival where she had many on display and for sale. It is very warm and matches my favorite dark brown winter coat perfectly!

I have recently signed up for Julep Maven Boxes. To become a Maven you need to Julep's website and sign up for however many months you want it. It is $20 a month and you receive a box of 2-3 Julep nail polishes and another Julep item. I will get my first box soon! Anyway, this has me thinking about winter nail polish colors. This winter I think that glitter, sparkle, and metallics are very in, which makes me very happy because they are my favorites and even if they weren't in I would still be wearing them. Other than these I think red is a classic winter color, just because of Christmas. Also winter always makes me think of blues and blacks because of dark snowy days.

This winter I have not seen much snow yet. I always wish for a snowy Christmas, because it just seems more Christmas-y if there is snow on the ground. This year I didn't get a white Christmas though. Thinking about snow though had me thinking about my footwear. For me in winter certain types of shoes are a must. I need shoes that are going to cover my feet and keep the snow out. Hopefully they also get my feet warm. So on my winter footwear list are boots for sure. Any kind of boots will do like knee high boots, calf-high boots, even ankle boots. If I am going to be wearing heels in the winter they are going to have to be wide heels like block heels not skinny heels. On ice and snow I need shoes that are going to let me stay balanced- no skinny heels are going to do that for me. Other than boots and block heels, but I also need flats like oxfords.
