What I'm Looking Forward To

December finally arrived! This month I am looking forward to so many things! I bet all of you also have a ton of things to look forward too this month with the holidays and all.
December

This upcoming week will be a short work week for me, because I am taking off on Friday morning to go to the eye doctor and to go shopping. Tracy and I will be spending the night in Lexington at the Double Tree. Why you ask? The next day we are going to see a production of The Nutcracker ballet.
I am also looking forward to my Christmas Vacation! My Last day of work this month is Dec. 19th. Over Christmas Break I plan to enjoy the holidays by spending time doing all of the things that I love and baking sweet treats for my relatives and friends to get them more into the holiday spirit. We will be baking lots of delicious treats and cookies. On Christmas Eve, we will be going to our Grandmas house for our family Christmas gift exchange with all of our aunts, uncles, and cousins. Then we will come home and bake cookies for Santa. It is family tradition to bake and decorate cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas, we will wake up to open presents! Later in the day we go back to Grandmas for a Christmas lunch!
What are you looking forward too the most this December?

  7. Your holiday plans sound really lovely! :) We've had similar traditions, except baking the cookies for Santa ;) Our tradition has been to visit our past relatives resting place / graveyard, go home where we have lunch. Santa comes over early in the evening with gifts and stays for a while, as kids sing a song for him. Then we eat a nice meal and go to sauna. Or bathe first, then eat!

This year I would do something irregular, and go away somewhere nice with my bf. But this tradition is really important to my little brother and nephews, so we might stay home anyways heh. :)

I hope your week has started well, and you two will have a great time seeing the ballet! I bet it will be a beautiful experience.
