With the end of the school year rush, I am dreaming of a relaxing beach vacation. Things have been so hectic at work and I have been having to stay after hours for training, meetings, and other things that need to get done. When the school year ends for me, my siblings and I are off to Florida for 9 days. Dreaming of the beach also has me loving seaside inspired decor. When I think seaside decor, I think navy and white. I think rope. I think clean lines and a few ocean inspired pieces like the starfish and the coral lamp above. What about you?

Whether you are going for a long stroll on the beach, walking the mall with your friends, or just running errands you can always keep the beach in mind. I love the colors of the beach. When I think of the beach I think of turquoises, navy, sandy colors, white, and coral. Any beach inspired look can be created using these colors. For clothing options, I tend to think of shorts, sundresses, and flowy skirts. For me beach inspired looks should be outfits that you can relax and be comfortable in. So, if you can't make it to the beach this year (like I can't) you can always dress in a look similar to above and pretend you are there.

Life can really stress you out occasionally. You can't always get away from it all, but these beach inspired rooms can be excellent places to rest, relax, and unwind. The calming colors and comfortable pieces of furniture will put you at ease. Whether you want a beach inspired house or just one room to be beach inspired you can't go wrong. If you only want one room, I think the hardest part will be deciding just which room to make beach inspired. I love all of the rooms above and could easily see myself taking a load off in any of them. I would love a warm bubble bath in that beautiful bathroom. I would certainly have sweet dreams in that relaxing bedroom. That table would be a great place to have a yummy meal or delicious sweet treat!
