I am so excited that we are in the middle of the holiday season. This is my favorite time of the year and I truly believe it is a magical time. I have so many things I want to do in the upcoming days including finishing decorating, wrap up my Christmas shopping, make a few handmade gifts, drink dozens of cups of hot chocolate, watch Christmas movies, send out my Christmas cards, and spend a lot of time in the kitchen whipping as many treats as possible.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I have never celebrated St. Patrick's Day, except that I always make sure to wear something green (necessary to avoid being pinched). This winter has definitely left me green deprived so I am making a little extra effort to enjoy this day this year. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day? How do you celebrate?

Monday Motivation

It's Monday. Don't we all need a little motivation to make it through a Monday? I know I do. Another reason we might need a little motivation is for our New Year's Resolutions. Most of us probably made a few resolutions that we want to keep this year. Every year I seem to set a few goals for myself for the upcoming year and for a while I do a great job of staying with all of my goals and then slowly I start to let some things slide. This year I have a few goals for myself and I am determined to make sure I stick with them all year! Did you set any resolutions?

Working It

When I saw the feature on Glitter Guide of the home office that belongs to Katie Anderson of Modern Eve I immediately fell in love. I love the feminine details and creative space that Katie has created. I was also surprised to see a couple items from my dream home office list that made an appearance in her space ( this book and a pouf). After a hectic weekend, I spent last night relaxing and pulling together a few images that inspire me regarding fashion and beauty. My favorites always tend to lean more toward soft, romantic, and feminine than any other style and currently I am inspired by these looks even more so than usual. I dreaming of a closet full of intricate bead/rhinestone work, soft colors, sheer fabrics, delicate lace, and shoes with ribbon and bow accents. To fully embrace the final weeks of Spring and the beginning of Summer these looks are perfect paired with fresh, dewy makeup and simple, no fuss hairstyles (major bonus points for floral hair accessories).

I am always looking for new inspiration and ideas so I would love to know what is currently inspiring you.

I have been a huge fan of inspiration boards for a long time now. Recently I have been interested in making my own inspiration board. I want my inspiration board to incorporate the things that I like and the things that bring happiness and inspiration to me. I have been collecting things as I see them to put on my inspiration board and hopefully some time soon I will actually have the time to sit down and create my inspiration board so that I can hang it in my bedroom.

I love how this inspiration board is divided into separate little squares for different things. While I like this idea I do not think my inspiration board will be this organized.
