Spring Trend: Hair Accessories
I love hair accessories. I have a huge collection of headbands and hair barrettes that I wear on a regular basis. Knowing they are a huge trend right now has me pulling them out even more often. I have been swooning over this very expensive headband headband for days but it well out of my price range, however, I just ordered this jewel head wrap that I cannot wait to wear.

I have painted nails way more often in the fall and winter than I do any other time of the year. I am so much more likely to take the time to paint my nails while cozying up inside and catching up on a favorite tv show or chatting with friends than I am during the super busy warmer months when I seem to always be on the go.

I have been paying close attention to fall nail polish trends so I can stock up on some new colors. I love the on trend hues this fall including inky blues (like this, bold plums (like this), and creamy nudes (like this). I have include some more in my guide above.

What are your favorite nail polish colors for this fall?

Bag It! : Bags I Love

When it comes to fashion related items I can never have enough bags. Satchels, shoulder bags, clutches, you name it I love it. There's no one particular color or print that I love the most. To me variety is best. Then I always have what I need or something close to it. I love neutrals black bags with gold zippers and details or a beautiful brown bag. Neutrals look great with anything and they are perfect for work. I also love bright bold colors like hot pink and cobalt blue. Sometimes I want my bag to make a statement. I also love glittery clutches or clutches with beautiful prints. One of my most recent purchases is a Kate Spade floral clutch. I absolutely love it and would pack it everywhere if it would always hold everything I would need.
I don't change my bag that often. A few weeks would be the minimum that I carry a bag at a time. I am one of those people who change bags every day. I just don't take the time to do that. I will admit that I sometimes dread cleaning my bag out to switch to a different one. Do you coordinate your bag from day to day or are you more like me? Do you have a favorite type of bag?

Tangerine Tango

Expect to see shades of tangerine everywhere this Spring especially with Pantone's announcement that Tangerine Tango is the official color of 2012. The color is vibrant, youthful, and energetic. The reddish-orange shade emphasizes warmth and seduction. It instantly brings to mind blossoming lilies, romantic sunsets, and heat.

I love the idea of pairing tangerine with a lemony yellow or a hot pink but if you are looking for a more subtle approach stick with pairing it with neutrals or incorporating it into your look as a shade of lipstick or nail polish or as a statement piece of jewelry.

Seeing sequins popping up in numerous Fall collections this year has made me almost giddy. I cannot pretend to understand a girl who doesn't like a little sparkle (or a lot in my case). Every girl needs a couple sparkly pieces in her closet. Sequin is very glamourous but can also work for day. For example try layering a fitted leather jacket or chunky knits over chic sequin cocktail dress or a sequin top with a blazer and jeans. Below is a few items I am currently loving.

Retro Romper

Source: svpply.com via Sunny on Pinterest

I will admit that it took me a while to warm up to rompers but now I see them as a fun, easy alternative to sundresses. They can be as casual as shorts and a tee but with a little more interest. Simple to style all you need is a belt, sunglasses, maybe a necklace, and great pair of sandals.

Call me crazy but I think if you found just the right well structured romper in a solid color it could be the the perfect substitute for a cocktail dress.
