On the Menu: Cake Batter Blondies

On the Menu: Cake Batter Blondies There's no denying that I have a huge sweet tooth. Brownies are a favorite in this house, but I do occasionally have a craving for a blondie. Don't you? This is the perfect blondie recipe. These have just the right texture between soft and chewy. The white chocolate provides some delicious sweetness and the sprinkles add some cuteness. I made this for a party so used star sprinkles, but you can use whatever suits your fancy. Also, did I mention that these only require one bowl and around 5 minutes of actual work time?

If you think these will be delicious then you should also check out Strawberry White Chocolate Chunk Brownies and Lemon Brownies. These are other unique twists to your typical brownie that are extremely delicious. Or if you want a more traditional brownie check out these Caramel Pecan Brownies

Ingredients
1 Box Vanilla Cake Mix
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
1 Large Egg
1/3 cup Milk
1/2 cup Sprinkles
1 cup White Chocolate Chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X13 pan with nonstick spray.
2. Combine the cake mix, oil, and egg. Then begin adding the milk slowly. You want the batter to be thick but if the ingredients are still dry add in a little more milk. No more than 1/2 cup in total though.
3. Mix in the sprinkles and the white chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared baking pan. Add a few more sprinkles to the top.
4. Bake for 25-35 minutes until the edges are turning brown.
5. Allow to cool before cutting. Store in an airtight container.

On the Menu: Reese Cup Blondies

On the Menu: Reese Cup Blondies Reese Cups have to be my all time favorite candy bar. They are the perfect mix of chocolate and peanut butter. So, any recipe that requires them must be fantastic right? These delicious bars are going to go quick, so you might want to buy enough ingredients for two batches.

Ingredients
1 Box White Cake Mix
3.4oz Box Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
1/4 cup Water
3/4 cup Oil
2 Eggs
Bag of Reese's Miniature Cups (unwrap ahead of time)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9X13 pan with nonstick spray.
2. Combine the cake mix, pudding mix, water, oil, and eggs. Add the Reese Cups. I bought a family sized bag of the miniature Reese Cups and add until I thought there was enough Reese's for there to be one in every bar. I ended up adding in about 2/3 of the bag. After pouring the batter into the pan I pressed a few more into the spots that didn't have one.
3. Bake for 20-30 minutes or under the edges are brown. Cool on a wire rack. Once completely cool you can cut and store in an air tight container. Or you can be like me and have to cut a few pieces while it is still hot to eat and enjoy. I love cookies straight from the oven.
