Tracy and I both love shoes. We both have tons of shoes under our beds and in our closets. We love to buy different styles and different colors of shoes like wedges, Keds, and rain boots. Shoes really are an important part of an outfit. With my job, as a teacher, I have to have comfortable shoes, but I want them to be beautiful too. I love shoes that are bright bold colors, while Tracy prefers neutrals, pinks, and sparkly shoes.
Right now, I am really loving color blocked items, especially color blocked heels. I love bold bright colors paired together like in these heels and I am also a fan of color blocked neutrals. You really can't go wrong either way. The neutrals would work with any look and with the bolder colors just pair them up with one color from the color blocking.

Statement Heels

I recently found myself wrapped up in browsing the shoes at Bergdorf Goodman and found some statement heels that were just too fun to not share. Do you own any great statement heels? While I am huge advocate of wearing statement pieces and own many pieces of statement clothing and jewelry my closet is surprising lacking in statement shoes. It will take some saving up on my part but I am head over heels for this pair.

Nude heels transition wonderfully from season to season. They are universally flattering, making your legs look long and lean. These shoes should be a closet staple. Nude is a neutral so feel free to pair your nude heels with almost everything. When it comes picking out your nude heels, chose a color close to your skin tone but don't match exactly.

With Spring will come the shading of heavy Winter layers and the coming of attire more suitable for Spring weather. I have already been looking for some new clothes and accessories that I will want to wear this Spring. During my search I have concluded that there are some must have accessories for Spring.

You definitely need a bag that is a more Spring-like color. This beautiful green is bright and cheerful, just like Spring should be.

These shoes are unique and cute. With the cutouts in these shoes they are definitely not Winter wearable, but come Spring they would be perfect.

Of course you also need a cute hat to wear.

The only other things that I can think that I would add to the list are sunglasses and a skinny belt. What about you?

During Winter we choose our outfits and shoes based on the weather.
