I recently shared how a pink coat has been one of my best investment pieces but after reading this article I have been considering that a leopard coat might be a must own piece. I have shared my love of leopard before ( here and here) but until now it never occurred to me how essential a leopard coat is. This is my favorite but it is definitely a splurge. This is a great find that is currently on sale for less than $100 and here is a beautiful option if you are looking for gray leopard.

Friday Favorites

What a week! I feel like I did not have time to pause to take a breath. I am planning to spend time entire weekend at home but that does not mean I will be spending time resting. I still have a long to-do list to work on crossing off items. This Friday I am all about leopard. If you had told me a few years ago that a day would arrive when I could not get enough of the print (recently demonstrated here) I would have thought you were crazy. These loafers would be great for those days when heels are just not going to work. Besides the items below this and this are among my favorites.

On The Spot

Over the last few years I have developed a huge love for leopard prints. When done right leopard is incredibly sophisticated while still being sassy and fun. While I have learned to embrace leopard as a neutral in my wardrobe I am beginning to picture it as a great way to incorporate prints into home decor. Now I just have to keep my eyes open for the perfect leopard print chair.

As much as I love neutrals I have never been one to shy away from wearing colors. I have, however, not embraced prints as much as I would like to. Aside from a couple striped tops and a few polka dot items my closet is seriously lacking in prints and the idea of how to mix patterns is completely foreign to me. Occasionally when I do try to mix patterns I never feel like I am quite doing it right. The lovely ladies above have convinced me that leopard and polka dots are meant for each other. Maybe I'll start small with a polka dot top and a leopard belt and branch out from there.
