Our second annual Halloween party is quickly approaching and we are busy with preparations. Most of the decorations are in place, we have some great party games ready (my favorite Halloween party game), and the menu is planned. The next two weeks are going to so busy with both me and Jessica having a lot of things happening at work. Being well prepared is the key to having a great party but you also do not want to make a party so much work that you do not get have fun.

An essential for an amazing party is an entertaining playlist. What's a party without music, right? Above is the Halloween party playlist that will be playing on repeat at our party. We like mixing in a few childhood favorites into our playlist to shake things up a little. Even at my age Monster Mash is still a fun favorite to sing along to.

Summer Road Trip Playlist Volume 2

Last year Tracy shared our Summer Road Trip Playlist with you before we left on our road trip to Florida. We went a few weeks ago on another road trip to Florida, so we needed an update playlist for the road. When I'm going to be in the car for an extended amount of time with my siblings or with friends I like upbeat music. Music that I can bop up and down to. Music that is fun. Don't you? Our Summer Road Trip Playlist

I love road trips. My most recent road trip was just a few weeks ago when I went with Jessica to Florida (approximately 14 hours each way!). The ultimate road trip essential is a great playlist. The songs Jessica and I have included in our summer road trip playlist may not been the deepest or most thought provoking but they are fun. When I am spending a lot of time in a car I want to enjoy upbeat, feel good songs that will have me singing at the top of my lungs. Happy-Go-Lucky

Today I decided to post about things that have made me happy this week. This week has gone really well for me and a lot of things have made me smile and I want to share those things with you too. Hopefully you will smile too!
Sweet Treats like cupcakes.

The night sky is so goregous. I love to relax and look up at the stars after a long, hard day.

Balloons can lift anyone spirits. This summer water balloons have been a blast.

Shopping is always so much fun, especially when I find great deals.

Earlier in the week I was thrilled to read about Hello Kitty on the blog A Mermaid's Fashion Notebook! I love Hello Kitty and her friends, especially Chococat and Badzt Maru.

I love to crank up the tunes in the car on the way home in the evenings! Singing along to the songs is just an amazing way to destress after work.

I love my cellphone. It is so easy to get in touch with friends and make plans for the weekend.

Payday was this week!! YAY!
